Collegiate Baseball Names Player's to Watch ....

The Collegiate Baseball Newspaper recently released their Pre-Season All American team along with a state by state break down of player's to watch.  Congratulations to four Bengal players who were on the "watch list".

Practice/ Tryouts

Practice/ tryouts begin February 24th.  All players who signed up will receive an e-mail with the practice schedule for week #1.  If you did not sign up and would still like to tryout, please see Coach Chase or DeGeronimo. Schedule is subject to change due to gym time.

Winter sport athletes ARE NOT PERMITTED to attend practice/ tryouts until their season is complete.

Youth Baseball Camp

Registration has started for our annual youth baseball camp.  Boys in grades 5-8 will learn basic fundamentals and mechanics from the Benedictine Bengals coaching staff.  Cost is $25 and includes a Bengal baseball cap.  To register contact Coach Sliwinski (slew19 [at] aol.com) with name and contact information.

Special Wing Night Raffle

This year Wing Night will feature a special Sports Memorabilia Raffle. The drawing will take place the night
of the event, March 22, 2014. The winner need not be present; we will either deliver or ship your prize to you.  Only 200 tickets for the raffle will be printed, so act fast.  If you cannot attend the event, a stub will be filled out for you and the ticket mailed to you.  All items were obtained in person by Coach Sliwinski and Coach Tomc.

Meet Coach Gadowski

Assistant Freshman Baseball Coach

Currently attending Kent State University where he is majoring in Education focusing on Social Studies. Coach Gadowski has experience volunteering in various youth baseball leagues.  Most recently he has been giving hitting instructions at Triple Play Baseball Academy, while also coaching the 13u team for North Coast USA Baseball.  This is Coach Gadowski's 2nd year with Benedictine.
