Tim Cheatwood ‘97 had a game to remember last night as the Cleveland Gladiators defeated the Utah Blaze 75-39. Cheatwood had three fumble recoveries and returned one for a touchdown.
After the game the Bengals coaches got to meet the star of the game, he was named Player of the Game for his defensive efforts.
Cheatwood was a 4-year letterman at Ohio State. He then went on to play in the Canadian Football League for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Montreal Alouettes and Edmonton Eskimos. He was a CFL Eastern Division All-Star in 2003 & 2004. He was also named to the CFL All-Star Team in 2004 when he led the league with 14 quarterback sacks.
