Bengals End Skid ... use Longball vs Cleveland Hts.

What a great day to play baseball in Cleveland, Ohio this past Saturday afternoon..  The temperatures reached the high 30's; we played in wind, rain , and eventually snow showers.  The pitching staff and defense limited Cleveland Hts. to just four total runs on the day.  John Hromulak pitched 5 2/3 innings before PJ Spicuzza recorded the final four outs of the game for his first Varsity pitching victory.  Tim Szalay, Jake Marinelli and Ryan Kovar all hit home runs in the 5-2 Game #1 victory.

Game # 2 was much of the same.  Joe Bova pitched a complete game 3-hitter with the help of a home-run by Tim Szalay and some solid defense.  Final score 4-2.

The Varsity Team { 7-7 } plays Gilmour Academy, St. Thomas Aquinas and Rhodes this week.  The JV Team continues to roll with a 11-1 record, our Freshman team is 2-5 on the season.
